Minister Attaf holds telephone talks with his Palestinian counterpart
Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad Ahmed Attaf held on Thursday a phone conversation with Palestine’s Prime minister and minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Mohamed Mustafa, in implementation of the decisions of the phone conversation on Wednesday between the President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune and his brother the President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas.
On this occasion, Mr. Attaf reiterated his "warm congratulations to Mr. Mohammed Mustafa on his appointment as Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the sister State of Palestine", and expressed his willingness to work in close collaboration with him, in the service of the Palestinian cause and for the realization of the related national project.
The telephone interview is part of monitoring the implementation of what was agreed between Presidents Abdelmadjid Tebboune and Mahmoud Abbas regarding the need to strengthen coordination between the Algerian and Palestinian parties in anticipation of upcoming events. linked to the Palestinian question at the level of the UN Security Council.
The two sides also reviewed "developments in the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories, in light of international steps aimed at ending the continued Israeli aggression against the brotherly Palestinian people, particularly in the Gaza Strip."
