President of the Republic receives phone call from Palestinian President

The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received on Wednesday a phone call from his brother Mahmoud Abbas, President of the occupied State of Palestine who thanked Algeria, President, people and State, for its steadfast support of the Palestinian cause, especially the recent United Nations resolution.

The President of the Republic underscored “Algeria’s unwavering stance as well as the ongoing support for all international efforts aimed at bringing justice to the brotherly Palestinian people and enabling them to recover their legitimate rights''.

The two presidents have agreed that “the head of the Palestinian government and Minister of Foreign Affairs are to visit Algeria after Eid al-Fitr.
